Intrepid young Ruby deLuna and her friends have banded together to save her filmmaker father Don from the paranoid schemes of Senator McCarthy and the FBI -- so he can continue directing their favorite action adventure serial, Kid Sniff and the Ticking Clock! In the meantime, Ruby's scientist mom is baking up atomic recipes in the kitchen and the blacklisted Kid Sniff actors get involved in Ruby's fight. Finally, Don stands up for what's right and J. Edgar Hoover and the giant computer UNIVAC are submerged when their secret Lab (located under the reflecting pool in Washington, DC) springs a leak in this thrilling McCarthy-era adventure.
