Biography
Rachel Lerner-Ley is a playwright and freelance dramaturg. As a playwright, she has seen her plays excerpted in The Boston Globe and produced at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Smith College, and at venues in NYC and across her home state of Massachusetts. Her plays have been named finalists in the National Ten-Minute Contest and the Young Playwrights Festival National Playwriting Competition. Ms. Lerner-Ley has also received first place in the Denis Johnston Playwriting Award and the Boston Children's Theatre Milestone Moments Playwriting Competition.
As a dramaturg, she has worked with Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Civilians, and Actors Theatre of Louisville. She holds a B.A. from Smith College and is a member of the LMDA.
